Dear RV Owner,
Greetings from The Alabama Wandering Stars Camping Club! We always find it a pleasure to meet and greet new campers!
Some of our membership are affiliated with the International Starcraft Camper Club, others are not. At this time the Int'l Starcraft Camper Club is accepting non-Starcraft units in their membership. (please use contact tab above for more info in the Int'l club).
Our chapter sponsors random weekend rallies in various areas of the state from February through December. We have a monthly newsletter throughout the year, which contains details about the club activities, upcoming events and other pertinent information. Our membership ranges in age from 6 to 88, and, we are a family friendly group.
The group is not so large that it is overwhelming. We aren't structured so our campouts are laid back and fun. If you like, you can take part in various activities, play games, go sightseeing, find the "good" restaurants, go shopping, enjoy leisure strolls, work on crafts, or just kick back and relax. We all share camping experiences, share our innovative ways to help make our camping style more efficient, discuss technical problems and of course swap stories. The friendships that have been made over the years are some we will treasure forever.
New members are the lifeblood of our non-profit social organization. On behalf of the Alabama members, we would like to invite you to attend one of our campouts to see for yourselves what we are about.
Alabama dues are $5.00 for 2013 - Now offering a free 2013 membership to new members. . (You are NOT required to be a member of the Int'l. Starcraft Club nor own a Starcraft Unit to join AWS.
If any of this sounds interesting or inviting to you or if you have questions, please contact us. Perhaps you can join us soon. Use "Contact Us" tab above. :-)
